This project was completed in partnership with K Group Inc., another environmentally conscious builder in Philadelphia. K Group gutted and fully retrofited a row home using sustainable building practices. They asked us to help when it came to the vegetated deck. Together we carefully planned the layout to maximize the vegetated area without losing the functionality. Left over plants and materials were donated to the Philadelphia University Green Roof Research Initiative.
