Radio Volta, a project of the Philadelphia Independent Media Center, was ready for a new space to accomodate its expanding programing and recording needs. When we talked about using non-toxic and sustainable materials it was an easy decision for someone tuned to the current social and environmental issues. The new studio and office are being repainted with zero VOC paint and outfitted with energy efficient light fixtures. Adhesives for the carpet are also zero VOC and the trim work is FSC certified lumber.
